Location:
The village of Imerovigli is the highest inhabited village on Santorini at approximately 350mt. (1150 feet) above sea level.
The village has about 470 permanent residents and is a 2.5 km northwest of the present day capital of the island, Fira.
IRIDA studios:
IRIDA is situated at the very peak of the village, (literally at the 350m above sea level) as a result visitors do not have to climb steps to approach our facilities. Guests have easy access to public parking areas (100m) and within a brief walking distance visitors will find small grocery markets, restaurants, news stands, and postal boxes.
IRIDA is a family owned and operated business that was established in 1992. Additions to our facilities were completed in 2005, which increased the number of our studios to a total of six units.
IRIDA is categorized as a complex of studios, however, aside from referring to us as IRIDA studios some visitors (based on their country of origin) prefer to call us IRIDA Bed & Breakfast or even IRIDA Petite Maison. Despite the difference in the preferred titles visitors grant us, they all agree with one expression on their departure "...unforgettable experience!"
